I am a vibrant Latina originally from Mexico City and I specialize in treating patients who have experienced trauma.

I started in the human services field in 2005 in Child Protective Services at DHHS. My love and passion for "hurting people" led me into this profession.

I utilize several therapeutic tools to help others achieve their goals and objectives, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

I am specialized in treating trauma issues. One technique that I use is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This technique is effective in helping individuals move forward in their lives from a past trauma event that has caused them to become "stuck" in their current daily life. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a highly effective technique to help individuals move forward from past traumatic events that keep them feeling stuck.
