Compassion Fatigue

Compassion Fatigue

Compassion fatigue is a form of burnout experience by individuals who regularly provide care and support, such as healthcare professionals, first responders, social workers, and service-oriented roles. The constant exposure to the suffering and emotional needs of others can lead to emotional exhaustion, feelings of depersonalization, and decreased sense of accomplishment. This can negatively impact both personal well-being and professional performance.
