Immigration Evaluation
An immigration evaluation is a mental health assessment that will be used by an immigration court to determine whether you can legally remain in the United States. It is conducted by a licensed mental health professional and sent to your attorney. An effective immigration evaluation often addresses the psychological aspects of various legal points and expands beyond what is covered in clinical assessments.
The immigration evaluation includes in-depth interviews that occur over the course of three to four meetings. You will be asked questions regarding your personal and family history, work history, medical and psychiatric history, and immigration status as they pertain to the case.
Immigration Evaluation Types
Extreme Hardship Waivers
For qualifying family members of applicants seeking waivers of ground admissibility.
Domestic Violence Cases
For undocumented immigrants who have been abused by their US citizen spouse.
Asylum/U-Visa Cases
For victims of persecution in their home country or a qualifying crime within the United States.
T-Visa Evaluations
For anyone who has been a victim of forced labor, labor trafficking, or sex trafficking.

Good Faith Marriage
The Good Faith Marriage Visa, also known as the Spousal Visa or CR1 Visa, is a significant pathway for foreign nationals who are genuinely married to U.S. citizens to obtain legal immigration status. If you believe you and your spouse meet eligibility requirements for this visa, our experienced immigration team is here to help you with a comprehensive evaluation to assess your eligibility and guide you through the application process.
Purpose
People seek to obtain a Good Faith Marriage Visa to achieve legal immigration status in the United States based on their genuine marriage to a U.S. citizen. This visa offers an opportunity for foreign nationals to join their spouses and build a life together in the United States.
Our Evaluation Process

- Eligibility Assessment: Our immigration experts carefully review the details of your marriage to determine if it meets the requirements for the Good Faith Marriage Visa.
- Document Review: We analyze the documents you provide to support your marriage, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and compelling.

T-Visa
We are advocates of justice. As social or human service providers whose main goal is to improve our patient's mental health, we feel an obligation to support human trafficking victims. Under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, the U.S. government provides relief to victims of human trafficking and allows them to remain in the United States to assist in the investigations or prosecutions of human trafficking violators.

Severe Form of Trafficking
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services defines "severe form of trafficking in persons" as follows:
- Sex Trafficking: When someone recruits, harbors, transports, provides, solicits, patronizes, or obtains a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act.
- Labor Trafficking: When someone recruits, harbors, transports, provides, or obtains a person for labor or services through the use of force, fraud, or coercion.
Psychological Factors
Many victims of human trafficking develop mental health symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A psychological evaluation can help create a case on how the crime mentally impacted the victim and how they will endure unusual severe harm if they were deported from the U.S.
