Dr. Perry Stanley, MED

Having earned his doctorate on Counseling Psychology from West Virginia University, Dr. Stanley has more than 40 years of experience as a clinician, director, and educator in both private and public settings.

Dr. Stanley is licensed to practice psychology in North Carolina and West Virginia. A certified Marriage and Family Therapist since 1992, Dr. Stanley has also served as an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Stanley has a certification in Clinical Hypnosis with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr. Stanley utilizes clinical hypnosis to alleviate pain and maximize comfort for those with chronic pain. He treats a range of conditions including gastrointestinal issues, sleep disturbance, and fibromyalgia. He works with cancer patients as well as those who are preparing for a medical procedure. Dr. Stanley has taught marriage and family therapy at universities as well as a free standing institute.
