LAB TESTING

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

We offer full laboratory services through our lab partner to help our providers make more accurate medical and psychological decisions. This partnership helps us improve patient care and experience, enhances operational efficiency and reduces processing costs. Our specimen collection has a fast turnaround, allowing us to receive test results very quickly. We also perform a few on-site analyses on blood, urine, and other bodily samples.

PHARMACIES

Electronic Rx

Our patients often experience delays in their access to medication, caused by extended back and forth communication with pharmacists and prior authorization requests. In addition, many insurance plans favor less expensive medications or require that patients try and fail certain medications, forcing pharmacies to send us prior authorization requests asking for justification or medical necessity to evaluate the need for specific medications. This process certainly increases the chances of prescription abandonment and non-adherence to prescribed meds and worsens our patient’s health outcomes.

WMH’s commitment to support our patients at every step of their medication access is facilitated by working closely with local pharmacies and processing electronic prior authorization solutions, which in turn reduced prescription errors and unnecessary delays. We advise against filling prescriptions at multiple pharmacies, which has been found to increase drug interaction and decrease medication adherence. Our prescribes maintain a collaborative relationship with retain and specialty pharmacies to improve treatment outcomes.

FIGHTING THE SPREAD

Covid-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots are available for eligible individuals, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future. The benefits of getting a Covid-19 vaccine include lowering your risk of getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19 and helping prevent serious illness and death. Studies show that vaccines are safe and effective for people ages 5 years and older.
