Primary Care Provider (PCP)
A doctor who provides general medical care. They can diagnose and treat physical illnesses, as well as refer you to a specialist if needed.
Psychiatrist
Someone who specializes in mental health. They can diagnose and treat mental disorders using medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
Mental Health Provider
A mental health professional who helps people with their emotional and behavioral problems.

Yearly wellness checkups with your primary care provider allow them to update your personalized prevention plan, have an update on your overall health, help guide you in the process of making better health decisions and choices that promote better health and allow preventing possible future health problems.
